Mrs.Arthita Mukherjee, presently serving as an Assistant Professor of Life Sciences in SiliguriTeraiB.Ed College, had been a student of this college as well while she was pursuing her B.Ed degree. She completed her B.Sc with Honours in Botany from the prestigious Serampore College, the second oldest college in India. Thereafter, she went on to complete her M.Sc in Genetics with 1st class from the University of Calcutta, BallygungeScience College campus. SiliguriTeraiB.Ed College had been her alma mater for B.Ed. thereafter she completed her M.Ed from the Institute of Education for Women, erstwhile known as the Hastings House, one of the most revered heritage institutions of West Bengal. She has also served as a summer Project Fellow in Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute, Kolkata.
